Eastern Sun Academy inspires students to realize and cultivate their inherent intelligence, compassion, and confidence.

MISSION

The mission of Eastern Sun Academy is to develop a comprehensive reform model for contemplative education that can serve children from all cultural, religious, and socio-economic backgrounds. Our aim is to draw forth students’ faculties of clear thinking, empathic feeling, and skillful action so that they may find meaning in their own life and the necessary inner resources to be truly helpful to others. It is our goal to create teaching materials to further the development of this new model.
